Philanthropy
| Over the years, the
Chicago Loop Group has actively supported local and national philanthropic
organizations. In the 1940's, funds were raised to support the Tri-Delta War Service
Project at home and Britain's refugee children overseas. The 1960's and 1970's brought an
awareness of children's diseases with donations benefiting the Cleft and Palate
Institute. From cookbooks to luncheons, Christmas cards to holiday wreaths,
the Chicago Loop Group fundraising proceeds directly impact those in need. |
| Delta Delta Delta has a long standing philanthropic commitment to
children's' cancer charities. The Chicago Loop Group maintains a special
relationship with the Ronald McDonald House near Children's' Memorial Hospital Inc.
The Ronald McDonald House hosts and cares for families and children who are undergoing
treatment at local children's' hospitals. Every year, the Loop Group raises funds to
benefit the efforts of the Ronald McDonald House. |
 |
| Through our annual
wreath sale and other special fund raising efforts we have raised thousands of dollars in
support of this unique organization located in our back yard. In addition to our annual donation, we actively engage with
the families of the Ronald McDonald House. By baking cookies with residents,
creating stationery for families, and decorating pillows for children, we provide hope and
support to those receiving care. |
| Every January, we host a
"Clean Out Your Closet Drive" to benefit local charities and service
organizations. In the past two years we have donated over sixty boxes of clothing
and household items. Around Thanksgiving we present a local women's shelter with
boxes filled with canned goods and household items for their residents. With a diverse set of needs in the Chicago community, the
Loop Group strives to make a difference whenever we have the opportunity. |
